Sharing an image of Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina, propaganda account @FaryalBD on X (Formerly Twitter) has said. “Sheikh Hasina is inducting the retired technical staff of the Indian Air Force into the Bangladesh Air Force. The first batch is already included. This will not only create a security risk, but also reduce the employment opportunities of Bangladeshi youth”.

Truth About the Claims: Fact-Check on Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina Inducting Retired Technical Staff of Indian Air Force into Bangladesh Air Force
As soon as the post came to our knowledge, we tried to find if the claims are true or false. We conducted research and found no reports of Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina inducting the retired technical staff of the Indian Air Force into the Bangladesh Air Force.
However, we found a report regarding the Indian Navy chief Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi’s visit to Bangladesh. According to the report, Indian Navy chief Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi has met with the newly-appointed army chief of Bangladesh General Waker-Uz-Zaman, and discussed the bilateral ties and explored new avenues for cooperation between the two armed forces.
During reverse image search, we found that the image used in the post is from 2013. The image shows Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina visiting Kurmitola Bangladesh Air Force base to see the newly added fighters and helicopters to the force in April 2013.
After thorough investigation, we did not find any news about Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina inducting Indian veterans into the Bangladesh Air Force.
